PROPER USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

PROPER CARE AND INSTRUCTIONS:
Like any fine product Chafing Dishes must be treated like the fine product they are.
Chafing Dishes should be wiped clean after every use with a soft cloth. When needed a stainless steel polish may be used.  In the unlikely event the slowdown mechanism should fail replacement mechanisms are available and easily replaced by removing two screws.

TRANSPORTING: Chafers must be carried in their upright standing position by grasping each side of the frame with both hands. Chafing Dishes CANNOT be carried by one end of the frame only. To do so will dislodge the cover from the slow down mechanism. Chafing Dishes CANNOT be carried by the cover handle. Severe damage will occur when transported improperly.

In the event the cover has dislodged itself due to improper transportation follow these simple steps.- Remove the Cover - Stand the chafer on all four legs with the handle facing you - Take an open end wrench and turn each square axle toward you until it can’t go any further - DO NOT EXERT EXTREME FORCE - The axle should be in the correct sequence of rotation.

If the axles are not in the proper rotation sequence you will not be able to open the cover fully or perhaps not at all. Replace cover and now your chafing dish is good to go.

Use a water-based spray or non-abrasive stainless steel product. Never submerge in water or put into a dishwasher. For silver, gold or copper plating, use non-abrasive liquid polish. For brass use non-abrasive cleaner. Abrasive cleaners will remove the protective clear coat laquer and will tarnish.

For Juice Dispensers, handwash in mild lukewarm soapy water.
